According to the press release the new Sony Ericsson S500i is all about "colour accents and ever changing desktop themes". Open the slider and you can "set the in-phone themes and external light effects to change when you want - with the seasons, as day turns to night or when the weekend begins".
Whilst this marketing speak is confusing its clear that Sony Ericsson have created another quality mid range phone. The 2 inch colour screen and 2 megapixel camera will be perfect for most users and the customisation features will appeal to anybody who wants to make their phone unique.

The Nokia N800 Internet Tablet :
The Nokia N800 Internet Tablet is a smooth slab of brushed aluminum around a wide, 4.1-inch touch screen. Only a couple of buttons break the surface, a three-way Escape, Switch, and Home key and a 5-way navigational button. Under the kickstand, you'll find a mini-USB port, and the first of two SD card slots. The second slot -- yes, you read that right -- is under the battery cover, but completely accessible and hot swappable. The service queries the Gracenote Mobile MusicID database and identifies the track, artist and album in real time. Thanks to a 512MB Memory Stick Micro the W660i can store up to 470 tracks. An integrated RSS reader offers your favourite feeds on the desktop. Sony Ericsson have included a 2 megapixel digital camera with Picture Blogging features so you can post to your blog or website at 3G internet speeds. Also introduced today are the Snap-On Spearkers which plug into the W660 and blast o ut tunes like a real stereo.
